What if the answers never come?
What if I'm floating aimlessly through what seems like eternity, without a place to call my home or even a place to stand and rest?
What if?
Maybe... this is my home; here, on this page. Here I am... meeting myself again.
Hello?
It's nice to feel a familiar face.
Where've you been? I've missed you. I didn't even know that I did.
This is where it all began, isn't it? Writing... like this.
Maybe this is where I... began.
In thought. In connection to the page. In connection to self, the moment a thought hits the page.
There... I Am.
Hello again.
Hello, You.
Who knew I'd see myself in words like this?
I thought I was a woman with brown curly locks the world constantly points out and blue eyes everyone loves but thinks are green.
I thought I was the freckles on my skin.
I thought I was a mother and a musician.
I could even say that I thought I was love...
But words?
On a page?
I never knew I could feel more seen.
What's my pronoun? "The."
hm.
I want it to end. This thought.
So I could have closure. I always want closure.
Put a pretty bow on it as we wrap this up.
But maybe it just ends with another question.
Why does everything end with a question?
